Tyson Both my kids learned on this bike when they were 5. It took less than an hour and they were riding a 16" bike with no training wheels. Be a little mean and make them stay on the bike when they whine "I just want to walk meh meh." When you hear them whine you are close! Whining means their brains are resisting an impending load: learning to ride a bike! Intermediate step: I did have to remove the pedals of their 16" bike for a confidence builder but neither needed more than 5 mins/1000ft before they were ready to ride.

Larry Perfect for my 17 months old.

Gatlin Most of these types of tyke bikes have a vertical handlebar shaft. This one is angled back. It was a hit for my grandson from the time he saw it. Extremely nicely built, durable and easy to setup.

Tucker Bought for granddaughters first birthday. She absolutely loves it. She has learned to ride it. So have bought her a tricycle with pedals for Christmas.
